John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Hey Stars!
It’s so lovely to write to you again. I can’t believe February is almost over (someone get me a box of tissues)! I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. We have, what—five days left? Amazing! February felt like me scooping ice cream on a sunny day—pleasant and exciting. Let me share a short note on how it went for me.
On the 14th of February, 2025, I had a bunch of letters to deliver. The business I was running that season was giving me the kind of problems I loved to see (too many sales and orders). Strangely, the Holy Spirit (my best friend) helped me give out unique poems to so many people. I loved the fact that I was able to spread love around, and I made a huge profit that actually scared me. God revealed Himself to me that day as Jehovah Jireh.
What was the next pleasant thing that happened? Well, Poetic Dice (Writing Community), where I’m a part of, had this event where we wrote Agape Love letters to our pen pals (if you want to join our tribe of writers, click here!). It was beautiful. That same day, I received a letter and a gift from my roommate, and it warmed my heart. To top it off, I had this sweet time with my roommates. We had a cute Valentine’s Special Night: we played games, laughed, read letters, shared our gratitude for one another, and the climax was watching the beautiful movie The Fault in Our Stars. You might be thinking, "I’ve watched it," but this time, it was a cute, girly night filled with love. Lastly, I felt the reckless love of God in a whole new dimension.
Back to you! how have you been shining, as the Star that you are? how has the journey of love been treating you?
I don’t know how the month has been for you, or what has been happening since the beginning of the year, but I just want to remind you that there is peace—even in the storm.
While I’ve shared a piece of my cake with you, that doesn’t mean someone didn’t use their strength and wisdom to bake it, pay for it, and bring it to me, before I shared it with you. So, what am I saying? Yes, the storm (debt, pain, sorrow, failure) might look like it’ll never end, but if you patiently endure and believe that Jesus is in your boat, then you too will have your piece of cake—or perhaps even the whole cake. Because if Jesus is in your boat, you can never be drowned or consumed by the storm.
The scripture I placed at the beginning of my letter is the point I want to share with you; to remind you to keep trusting God, keep being still even in the storm, keep singing and rejoicing even when it seems there’s nothing to be joyful about, and to keep living a life of radical gratitude. Wait through the process of baking, decorating, paying, delivering, and finally tasting the awesomeness of your piece of cake.
Remember that He is always with you—right now, He is beside you. I hope you’ve surrendered your burdens to Him and trusted Him with your life.
Star, I don’t know how life has been for you, but I just want you to know that Jesus knows it all and feels exactly how you’re feeling. Please don’t give up. Let Him in. Let Him be your Prince of Peace. Let Him take your life, and watch it blossom like an evergreen tree🍃🌼
PS: I hope you keep being STILL and have strong faith, knowing that He is always with you.
With love,
Rejiwritess🌟✍🏽
