It’s Vision First
…You can’t be broke and be shy.
I heard something one day and it shook me to my bones: “You can’t be broke and be shy.”And when I heard this thing, chaiii!! I nearly cried, because I was once shy.
But omo, when I saw this, I said, “Eh! Today is the day I break forth from this thing called poverty.”
I haven’t attained the level of wealth or financial freedom that I desire, but each day, there’s this consciousness that I can’t remain small. And I know I’m not where I want to be, but very soon, I’ll get there.
I’m writing this letter to you because I know my future self will read this... lol that’s just by the way.
The main reason is to make you realize that you can start building wealth from the very first account, which is your mind. And I mean wealth the right way.
The first thing I need you to know is vision. Anyone who wants to build wealth must catch a vision, a vision with a burning desire that will wake you up every morning. Scripture tells us that: “The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.” Proverbs 14:20. This alone should ginger you to hate poverty every day.
If you live in a country like mine that encourages poverty, it can be hard to shift your mindset daily.
But even, in this country or whatever country you're in, you can chose to say I'll not be part of those criticizing it but instead “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up; And he shall save the humble person.” Job 22:29
Because, There are still people from this same country who are attaining wealth, the right way. And like an African mother will say: ‘do they have two heads?’
Let me share with you how you can begin to change your mind, because it’s very possible:
Don’t beat yourself up, don’t compare yourself. Be okay with where you are and accept it, but never settle for less. Keep training your mind to say, “You know what? I HAVE A MULTITRILLIONAIRE MIND!” And one day, I’ll make and enter into that wealth. Remember what scripture tells us: “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”— Deuteronomy 8:18
It’s the small wins that take you to the next level, so while you’re making slow progress, don’t belittle it—it’s part of the process to life.
Use your mouth! Begin to speak and create your vision. Let the people around you know about that vision. You can consolidate your environment with your vision.
Become hungry for wealth. It might sound crazy, but that is what will make you angry with poverty every day. How do you get hungry for wealth? By getting hungry to generate value.
If you have seen yourself in the future, WRITE IT DOWN! Let it be tangible. Create a vision board so it reminds you every day where you’re heading to.
Don’t ever let “no money in your pocket” stop you from making progress. Begin to take responsibility for your decisions. Nobody owes you anything, your life is your business, so if you become something then it becomes the world’s business because when you're valuable wealth will find you.
Let’s leave all these pointers—it's getting too serious, lol. But guess what? IT’S VERY SERIOUS.You need to leave poverty and enter into wealth. (except if you're a trust fund baby then all these things aren't serious but if you're not omo, pay attention o. P.S.: As I’m writing this letter, I am also writing to myself.) Begin by using what you have to get what you don’t have. Start investing in people—whether rich or poor. Invest in people. Don't say you're shy o, because you need to understand that money is in people.
Many people think it’s money first, it’s never money first. It’s vision first. You need to consciously believe that your vision will come through.
If people haven’t started laughing or saying “Ahan! This thing—is it possible?” you’ve not started yet. So, change your mind. It’s a battle, but every day, set reminders, go for conferences that talk about wealth, listen to podcasts, read books.
Let the words begin to sink in, so that one day it will just burst out of you like a fountain, and you will begin to move in that wealth. Scripture tells us:“You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” Psalm 65:11
Star, begin to position your thoughts to be positive, you must fight it. When you have a positive mind, it will help you to succeed and help you add value to your community.
Your mind should be filled with an idea centre. No longer will you be speaking problems, begin to speak solutions. Scripture also tells us: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7a so, begin to think BIG!
Some people might be asking why do I need to create wealth? That question used to off me, shey you no like enjoyment ni? That aside let me convince you today, why you need to pray and consciously get a rich mind:
For pleasure, enjoyment. Proverbs 10:22
Financial freedom. Psalm 65:11
Empowerment, money gives you power. Ecclesiastes 7:12
Purpose, expansion. Genesis 1:28
Above all, let the source of all wealth, be your guide. Don’t box God.Don’t keep Him outside your life. He has told you that “He will make your path drip with abundance.” He also said “I’ll give you power to make wealth.”
So cry to God, tell Him your heart’s desire, tell Him your needs, and pray it in His will and He will answer you. Also, pray for the grace to steward wealth, and DON’T ROB GOD when you begin to make wealth. See Malachi 3:10.
So I’ll end with this: Are you hungry to generate so much value? Nobody is poor because of where he/she came from, you’re poor because nothing is coming from you. Every person that is great today is because he/she does something. So begin to look beyond what’s normal and add value.
Star, I believe you have gotten wiser after reading this letter. And if you’ve read up to this point, you’re amazing!!
It’s always so exciting and pleasing to write to you. Keep being a star! Can’t wait to see you at the top!
With love,
Rejiwritess.
Xx
