What is life other than to see the ones you love being by your side through the rough edges of life, and they’re there to cheer you on, to be happy for you when you win?
It doesn’t have to be lonely at the top. You can get there with your beautiful family, loved ones, and friends.
We weren’t created to be an island; we were made to love, to have fellowship.
I have lost so many things in this life; my cookbook, my earrings, my napkin, money, and so many other valuable things. But what happens when you lose someone you love? That’s a pain that can never go away.
Your whole life changes. You begin to wonder if you’re in a dream. You watch as how much a loss can change a once jovial personality to a cold, broken one. Everything changes, and I mean everything changes. And then you just try to take one day at a time.
But hey, you’re going to be okay.
You’re going to be alright.
Why am I so sure?
Psalm 27:10 — “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.”
So to those who are grieving,
To those who are bereaved,
My heart goes to you.
You’re going to be okay.
And if you ever feel overwhelmed and hurt, Jesus is saying to you today:
Matthew 11:28 — “Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’”
Star, may peace find you, and may love forever hold you.
With love,
Rejiwritess.
xx.
